Our Story

Holly & Ivy is a family business that began in the loft of our home at number nineteen Glenart Road, just as South Africa’s new Democracy was born. Since then we have grown to become South Africa’s Premier Christmas Cracker Manufacture, supplying most of the major retailers and exporting our products around the world.

The youthful minds that watched the development and growth of the company have now taken over the management and running of the company. With fresh and enthusiastic people at the helm and a youthful and delightful workforce hand producing our exceptional products, Holly & Ivy is embracing all the new opportunities that have opened up for us.

We built a new 3000m2  office and manufacturing facility at Shaka’s Head, close to where the Founder of the Zulu Nation, King Shaka, built his great Military Barracks in 1826. This facility is custom built to our requirements and has allowed us to improve on all aspects of our business. We are passionate about Christmas and our products,  so you can be confident that our hand made Christmas Crackers are of the highest quality standard. Each and every cracker has our love and attention invested in it!
